André Schiffrin

André Schiffrin was the Chief Editor and Managing Director of Pantheon Books for more than twenty-five years, until his resignation in early 1990. He has worked as editor with many world-renowned writers, including Simone de Beauvoir, Jean-Paul Sartre, Julio Cortázar and others. He has frequently contributed articles to _The New York Times Book Review, The New Republic, The Nation _and other journals.
