Brendan Galvin

Brendan Galvin (1938–2023) was the author of nineteen books of poems. Habitat: New and Selected Poems 1965–2005 (Louisiana State University Press, 2005) was a finalist for the National Book Award, and he was shortlisted for the Pulitzer Prize for Winter Oysters (University of Georgia Press, 1983). After appearing in AGNI over a period of twenty-nine years, he died shortly before his last AGNI poem was released.
