Cheryl Savageau

Cheryl Savageau is a poet and artist of French Canadian and Abenaki descent. She has published three books of poetry, including the Pulitzer-nominated Dirt Road Home (Curbstone Press, 1995), and a children’s book. She has received fellowships in poetry from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Massachusetts Artists Foundation and has held several Residency Fellowships at the MacDowell Colony for the Arts.
