David Kirby

David Kirby has published twenty-two books of poetry and criticism. His tenth book of poetry, The Temple Gate Called Beautiful, was published by Alice James Press in 2008. He has won prizes and honors including four Pushcart Prizes, two inclusions in Best American Poetry, and fellowships from the NEA and the Florida Arts Council. He teaches at Florida State University.
