Debarati Mitra is the author of Andha Skule Ghanta Baje (A Bell Rings in the School for the Blind), Amar Putul (My Doll), Jubakar Snan (The Young Man’s Bath), and Bhutera O Khuki (Ghosts and the Little Girl). Her poems have appeared in translation in International Quarterly, PN Review (U.K.), and In Their Own Voice: The Penguin Anthology of Contemporary Indian Women Poets (ed. Arlene R. K.
