Efpraxia (Effie) Sapuridis

Effie Sapuridis manages AGNI’s Facebook presence and has been a member of the editorial team since 2016. She is a Media Studies PhD candidate in the Faculty of Information and Media Studies at Western University (Ontario, Canada). Her doctoral work is interdisciplinary in nature and employs an intersectional ethics-of-care feminist framework to trace how marginalized young people engage in digital transmedia storytelling through fanfiction. She hold a Master’s in English literature from the University of Massachusetts Boston. She is also the founding editor of Fterota Logia, an online journal of young adult literature. (updated 4/2022)
