Ellen Doré Watson is the author of three collections of poems. She has also translated a dozen books of poetry, including The Alphabet in the Park (Wesleyan University Press, 1990), for which she won a National Endowment Translation Fellowship. She is currently the director of the Poetry Center at Smith College. (updated 7/2010)
