Emily Hiestand

Emily Hiestand won the National Poetry Series award for Green the Witch-Hazel Wood (Graywolf Press, 1989) and has received other honors including a Pushcart Prize, the Whiting Writers Award, and the Discovery/The Nation Award. She has also published a collection of short stories and a book of travel essays. (updated 7/2010)
