
Gregory Skovoroda
Gregory Skovoroda (1722–1794), called the Ukrainian Socrates, composed songs, fables, and poems, as well as philosophic dialogues and essays. None were published in his lifetime. He wrote in Latin, Old Slavic, and Ukrainian.
