Julia Brown

Julia Brown is editor at large of AGNI and has been part of the editorial team since 2019. Her work has been published in The Brooklyn Rail, Gulf Coast, Mosaic, and SmokeLong Quarterly. Originally from Richmond, she teaches creative writing at the University of Houston and is a former fiction editor of Gulf Coast. She is at work on a collection of short stories. (updated 4/2025)
