Luis Urrea

Luis Urrea is the author of thirteen books and writes in all genres. A finalist for the 2005 Pulitzer Prize in Nonfiction, he is also the recipient of the 2009 Edgar Award and the 1999 American Book Award, and is a member of the Latino Literature Hall of Fame. Urrea currently lives in Naperville, Illinois, and teaches at the University of Illinois at Chicago. (updated 6/2010)
