Pilar Sans Coover

Pilar Sans Coover was born in Tarragona, Spain, in 1936 as Maria del Pilar Sans Mallafré. Her needlepoint tapestries reflect her studies in biology at the University of Barcelona and her years of classical guitar training, as well as her engagement with medieval art and the contemporary art of Spain.
