Sugawara Katsumi

Sugawara Katsumi was imprisoned during World War II for opposing the Japanese military regime. In the 1960s he became a key member of the “Archipelago” Poetry Group, and created a poetry journal titled P which he edited until he died in 1988. (updated 1996)
