Hoyoung Moon

Hoyoung Moon is a translator and writer based in Seoul, divided Korea. Their publications include 전부 취소 (Never Mind, Itta, 2024), a book about how translation made them trans; You Have Reached the End of the Future by Hwang Inchan (Asia, 2021); and the Korean editions of What About the Rest of Your Life by sung (Media ILDA, 2020) and The Terrible We by Cameron Awkward-Rich (Luciole, 2026). Their translations from Korean have been longlisted for the Stephen Mitchell Prize and Best Literary Translations 2027, and published in The Offing, Modern Poetry in Translation, and World Literature Today.
