Ashaki M. Jackson

Ashaki M. Jackson is the author of two chapter-length books: Surveillance (Writ Large Press, 2016) and Language Lesson (Miel, 2016). Her work has also appeared in Prairie Schooner, AGNI, CURA, Obsidian, 7x7 LA, and Midnight Breakfast, among other publications. A Cave Canem alumna, she received an MFA in creative writing from Antioch University Los Angeles and a PhD in psychology from Claremont Graduate University. She lives in Southern California.
