Matty Layne Glasgow

Matty Layne Glasgow is the author of deciduous qween (Red Hen Press, 2019), winner of the Benjamin Saltman Award. His poetry and essays have recently appeared or are forthcoming in Copper Nickel, Ecotone, AGNI, Kenyon Review, Quarterly West, and elsewhere. A Black Earth Institute Fellow, he is assistant professor of English at the College of Charleston and creative nonfiction editor of swamp pink. (updated 4/2026)
